Plutus Capital Partners is a boutique advisory firm that provides investment banking services globally. Plutus partners with business owners and management teams to provide capital and advisory services throughout all stages of a firm's life.


By taking an industry-specific and geographically strategic focus, Plutus is positioned to provide a unique perspective while supporting clients with investment banking services on capital raises, and advisory services on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, licensings, and other strategic transactions. The Plutus professionals focus on growth companies across their specific areas of expertise including healthcare, technology, business process outsourcing, and financial services.

The firm was founded on the belief that an opportunity exists in the financial services market for a company to align itself with clients rather than merely focus on one-off transactions. Founders


Gordon is an experienced banker specializing in advisory and capital raising services for mid market and growth oriented companies. He is the founder and Managing Partner of Plutus Capital Partners, where he specializes in advising financial services and healthcare clients in their corporate finance and strategic initiatives. Prior to founding Plutus, Mr. Maner was an investment banker at Susquehanna International Group focusing on the healthcare sector. At Susquehanna, Mr. Maner completed several merger and acquisition mandates as well as numerous public and private financings. His previous investment banking experience included advising and raising capital though PIPEs (Private Investment in Public Equity) for emerging companies in the technology and business services sectors at Midtown Partners in New York City. Prior to his investment banking career, Mr. Maner conducted research for hedge funds and worked with financial advisors at both Merrill Lynch and Wachovia Securities. Mr. Maner graduated with a B.S. from the University of Georgia.



Mark received a B.S. degree in Biology from The Citadel and an IMBA (International MBA) from the University of South Carolina. As part of the IMBA degree, Mark studied at the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Guadalajara, Mexico and also received a post-IMBA grant from the Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) to study emerging economies and attended the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore, India. Prior to cofounding Plutus Capital Partners, Mr. Padgett served as a healthcare industry operating manager, an equity research analyst and an investment banker. Mr. Padgett's experience in the healthcare industry includes conducting biomedical research for the Medical University of South Carolina's Department of Medicine where he co-authored multiple publications that were published in the Journal of Endocrinology and working for Janssen-Cilag Pharmaceuticals (Johnson & Johnson) in New Business Development in Mexico City, Mexico. On Wall Street, Mr. Padgett conducted sell-side research at Buckingham Research Group and Key Bank, was a buy-side analyst at Natexis Banque Populaires and was an investment banker at Susquehanna International Group.



Ripun is the co-founder and managing partner at Plutus Capital Partners where he leads the company's cross border practice between India and the US. Mr. Mehta currently manages the Business Services and IT practices at Plutus. Prior to this, he was the managing director at Technology Holdings, a cross border M&A advisory. Mr. Mehta built Technology Holdings since 2003 and exited the company in 2009. At Technology Holdings, he was responsible for starting and building the company's healthcare and mortgage outsourcing practices. He also led the company's private equity advisory and was involved with several M&A and Pvt. Equity transactions during his career. Mr. Mehta is a passionate entrepreneur, having founded 5By7, a designing and printing company based in New Delhi and London. Mr. Mehta is a board member at AIESEC India, a non-profit organization that fosters cultural understanding and leadership development through global exchange programs. He is a graduate from Delhi University, India and a Sumantra Ghoshal Scholar at London Business School, London.
